Registration is now OPEN for KNOW HIM: The Last Supper and the Gift of the Eucharist, Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Christ Our Shepherd Center, Greensburg, an experiential event as part of the Diocese of Greensburg Eucharistic Revival efforts. As discussed at the regional Eucharistic gatherings, parishes are encouraged to consider closing for a half day so that clergy and staff can attend together at either the 9:30 a.m. or 2:00 p.m. session. The events will last approximately 2.5 hours. There is also an event at 6:00 p.m. that evening if that works better for your schedule.

Visit www.dioceseofgreensburg.org/eucharisticrevival to register for this free event. To unlock the 9:30 a.m. registration, please click on Reserve a Spot and type in the promo code PARISH so you can secure a reserved spot.

World Day for Consecrated Life

In 1997, Pope Saint John Paul II instituted a day of prayer for women and men in consecrated life. This celebration is attached to the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord on February 2nd. This Feast is also known as Candlemas Day; the day on which candles are blessed symbolizing Christ who is the light of the world. So too, those in consecrated life are called to reflect the light of Jesus Christ to all peoples. The celebration of World Day for Consecrated Life is transferred to the following Sunday in order to highlight the gift of consecrated persons for the whole Church. We hope that you find the following resources helpful for your own celebrations of World Day of Prayer for Consecrated Life!
